Hello, in my violin plots there’s an option for z-score of expression but I not exactly sure what this means, could someone please explain? My data is just 1 replicate per treatment.

The z-score measures how many standard deviations the expression level is from the mean. So a z-score of 0 indicates that the data point’s score is identical to the mean score.
